Questions, answered.
What does 'Ofqual regulated' actually mean?
+
Ofqual is the UK Government regulator for qualifications. An Ofqual-regulated qualification is on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, assessed against a published specification, and recognised by major UK aesthetics insurers.
Do I need to be a medic to train with you?
+
No. Our Foundation pathway is designed specifically for non-medics. You'll build the underpinning anatomy, physiology and clinical knowledge required to progress safely toward Level 7.
What is the Level 7 Conversion route?
+
Conversion uses Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to formally map your existing experience against the Level 7 specification. We add targeted bridging modules and final assessments so you exit with the full regulated qualification.
How long does the full Level 7 Diploma take?
+
Typically 12 months including theory, mentored practical hours, case studies, and final assessments. Conversion candidates usually complete in 3–6 months depending on prior evidence.
Will I be eligible for insurance?
+
Yes. All our qualifications meet the requirements of the major UK aesthetics insurers.
Can I pay in instalments?
+
Yes. Pay a 50% deposit, then spread the remaining balance over 12 interest-free monthly payments collected by GoCardless Direct Debit. There are no fees and no interest. This is a payment schedule invoiced by Matrix — not a credit or finance product.
Is this a finance or credit agreement?
+
No. Matrix Aesthetics Academy is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not offer credit or finance. Our 50% + 12-month plan is an interest-free payment schedule invoiced directly and collected by GoCardless Direct Debit. If you'd prefer a regulated split-payment option, you can choose Klarna at invoice — Klarna is the regulated provider in that case, not Matrix.
Do you offer Klarna?
+
Yes. Klarna is available at invoice as an alternative way to spread the cost. Klarna's standard eligibility and terms apply.
